the tribeca film festival is going on now, and i love how the city buzzes with movie premieres, celebs, fashion, and events. there's always something fun to do! last weekend in battery park, the festival was hosting a family fun night of scavenger hunts, chipmunk sitings, and a drive-in movie—the goonies! i hadn't seen that movie in years, and i was laughing through the entire thing. todd kept turning to me thinking i was reading something funny on my phone, but oh no, i was just laughing at all the dumb things chunk and data said. i'm such a nerd.

2 months.

i can hardly believe harper is two months and counting! she continues to grow more daily. 

i feel like every picture i take of her she looks older than the last. stop growing, girl!! 

......

:: harps weighed 11 pounds 6 ounces and measured 24 inches at her 2 month appointment. she is a big, healthy and long girl!

:: she has been spending a lot of time on her left side in hopes of finally making the big roll onto her belly. she just. can't. quite. master it yet.

:: her hair is still growing long, and i am constantly resisting the urge to cut it. she has this peacock-thing going on in the back that will not settle to even the strongest of gel. 

:: harper is going to grow up confused about her real name. our sitter, flor, calls her 'tracey little' because she can't pronounce harper and apparently she thinks my name is tracey. nevertheless, harper and i love flor, and flor LOVES harper!

:: as you might have seen here, she has turned into one big chatterbox. i just love to sit and talk with her all day!

:: a tourist stopped todd and harper on the street this weekend to take a picture of her. i'm not sure whether i should be flattered or scanning the internet to filter images of my child. 

:: harper is almost consistently sleeping from 7pm to 9:45am with one nightly feeding. need i say more?

harper is a happy, little joy in our lives and we love her to pieces. next week, we'll be taking our first trip on an airplane and i'm praying that we'e not "that" couple with the crying baby. luckily, she hasn't discovered how loud her cry can get and i hope she doesn't anytime soon!

blossoms in central park.

i don't know how it happened,  but last weekend i was able to convince hubs to head up to central park for a little family photoshoot. it was going to be our first official family photoshoot with harper, and i couldn't pass up the opportunity {and i wasn't about to let him pass it up for us!}

the photographer had us meet her at this ah-mazing location in the park just north of the reservoir. here, there were rows and rows and ROWS of cherry blossom trees, all lining a little hidden dirt path. what a gem of a spot that i never knew about!

after the shoot ended, i wasn't ready to leave, so we plopped down a blanket, had my brother and his girlfriend meet us with some levain cookies, and stayed in the park until the chill of the evening breeze picked up. i'm going to be so sad once these blossoms go away— not only do they make the city look so much more beautiful, but where will harper wear her cherry blossom romper??

bbq.

the other evening, we met up with the egan's for an amazing bbq cookout in their building. i feel like spring is only official once the scent of grilled burgers fills the air {and grilled pineapple. because you know that is a must!} the egan's have the most amazing building that is only 900 floors tall and contains any amenity you could ever dream of—ping pong & pool tables? of course. a lap pool? goes without saying. theatre room? absolutely. not one but TWO golf simulators? you betcha'. see... i told you. everything!

we love having the egan's so close to us, and we love that they live in the best building around town! these cookouts are going to have to be a weekly occurrence!

harps and i had a lovely afternoon together just hanging out. it's what we do best—

eating, sleeping, trying on new clothes, reading fashion mags, 

ya know... the ush.

i can't believe my little girl turns two months this week.

she has grown out out of that newborn look and is starting to take

on a look of her own. and don't get me started on her personality!

i love that girl. and i love my man!

our easter was so great this year. it's amazing just how much love a child can bring into your home.

easter weekend is off to a great start.

today was not just good friday, it was great! 

hubs got off work early and met me and harps at the park at our easter-egg hunt {more to come on that!}

the rest of the day was filled romping around town, just the three of us.
